What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact practice that focuses on improving posture and enhancing overall well-being. Pilates exercises concentrate on reeducating postural habits, developing body awareness, and finding a balance between building core strength and mobility. Movements typically involve the entire body, while working to improve breathing and concentration.
Why Pilates?
Our posture reveals a lifetime of habits. Even though we stop noticing how we move or stand, over time, a light tension can become a chronically tight muscle that pulls our posture out of balance. Eventually, chronic misalignments and poor breathing patterns can grow into persistent headaches, loss of focus, back and neck pain, among other conditions. Strengthening your core and developing your body awareness will help you to prevent, correct, and improve from overall imbalances. After some practice, participants also report feeling more confident.
Our Pilates sessions
Will help you to re-balance your posture and manage your energy effectively. You will work on conditioning your entire body and developing your muscles evenly. By retraining your movement and improving your postural alignment you will learn to move in a way that is safe, effective and harmonious. What is most important is for you to discover how to “be in your body” in a way that feels organic, enjoyable and respectful of your anatomy.
Pilates can be done by everyone
