“Find your inner resources”
In this workshop, you will be guided into an embodiment practice using breath, body awareness & movement to bring more attention to the physical sensations and to feel the states that are present. As our body tissues store many memories related to stressful situations or traumatic events, we often become disconnected from our body to be protected from the pain we have experienced. At the same time, this defensive mechanism is blocking us from accessing the resourceful states of contentment, fulfillment, safety, and inner strength that are also being stored in our tissues. We may access those states once unnecessary tension has been released from our system.
During the workshop, we will integrate Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System (BBTRS) techniques which, when skillfully combined in an integrated flow and safe environment, help long-held release tension in the body and stress in the neuro system. With lots of care and support, you will be guided on this journey inwards to find the places of safety and comfort within your own body, to find your “inner resources” that can be used for self-support in stressful situations.
Each and every Biodynamic Breath workshop or individual session is a unique experience that may bring a lot of insights and may help to realize and, when practiced regularly, to break through some long-held patterns in the body and mind that don’t serve us. help the whole system to integrate what we have encountered during the workshop, we will finalize it with an extra-long guided relaxation accompanied by the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments.
More about BBTRS
BBTRS is a 6 elements approach that combines breath, movement, touch, sound, conscious emotional release, and meditation. Deep connected breathing is being used to charge up the body, activating specific belts of muscular tension and emotional patterns. We may use both somatic and creative movement exercises to allow vibration and release held energy in the body’s tissue. This may include fascial opening, core tension release, therapeutic use of dance, etc. When we use sound with conscious intention may have a remarkable effect on our neuro system. A mindful touch may be used to increase awareness and support energy flow in the body. Soft emotional release can be part of the breathing experience but it’s not a goal. You are supported to stay present while revisiting deeper feelings and sensations – and to return to your own sense of comfort whenever necessary. Staying present with your experience throughout the whole process is a true essence of meditation that goes beyond any technique.
